Coffee vs. Alzheimer's Disease...And the winner is.....Coffee!!
I'm particularly interested in this article by Peter Attia about coffee drinking and the reduction of the risk of Alzheimer's.
My dad had some sort of mental decline in his 80s.
His body was ready for more years, but his mind was not.
The doctors weren't sure enough about his diagnosis to say "Alzheimer's," but they simply said, "some sort of dementia."
Either way, I'm a coffee lover and may have a hereditary pre-disposition to "Alzheimer's" or some other "sort of dementia".
So, I'm reading with interest.
The TLDR of the article is....
Go ahead and drink the coffee. It won't hurt and will probably help protect you from neurodegenerative diseases.
